As part of our continuing updating efforts, we will be showing "Special Exhibits" in the future.

These exhibits will either be shown according to specific topic areas, such as "Stockings and Sports", "Stockings and the Emancipation of Women", "The Stocking in Art Work", "The Stocking in Advertising" - or they will be selected chronologically, e.g. "The Stocking of the 1920's, 1930's, etc."

These exhibits have the purpose of going into more detail on some of the topics from our Museum's permanent displays and providing an overview of the depth of our inventory.

Results of our survey in the "Hosiery Café" will also have an impact on the themes of our Special Exhibits.
